I haven’t been the same since that yellow jacket swarm cornered me in a skid steer… damn near 20 got me that day, it was unpleasant.

Yeah it really does suck, I have had my eyes swollen shut. Luckily skid and tractor at work have cabs now.

Funny thing, this was a used bobcat we acquired. It had a closed cab at one point, but the previous owner had a habit of leaving the bucket up and door open when he was done. Got it cheap cause it wouldn’t run. Bypassed the safety and left it doorless. I will say, the swing out door is a design flaw as far as I’m concerned.

Panick n hope for the best. Im usually drunk enough when I do shit like that to survive a good 30 ft fall to the conrete. I wouldnt recommend trying that sober.

I was in a slow piece of shit lift and got swarmed. Had to use the wretched controls to move down as slow as you can imagine. Had many stings. I feel lucky that was the only time it's happened.

I am a famous wasp-killer, but ordered me not to kill mud daubers anymore. Apparently they don't really sting humans very often, but they eat the bad wasps that do, also hornets. I always follow His advice (PBUH).
