that notwithstanding, why would one want to? If it could be done, and I am supremely confident it can be or even has been; I don't understand the purpose. An AI can piecemeal the words together to create functioning sentences, stanzas, bars, etc., but the prose will be devoid feeling. Isn't that the purpose of poetry at its core - to gracefully articulate emotion?

Yeah, but I really don't put any feeling into my poetry either. TBH I'm not even sure why I write. Probably just need something to do with my fingers. Maybe I'll take up knitting
Because you can. Thats the only reason white people have ever needed. To try, and To do, and to improve.
You could make a fake black woman identity and then spam poetry magazines with submissions, working your way up the chain until eventually you were getting paid for submissions. Maybe you could even publish a couple poetry books and sell for money... No book launch though or the jig is up.
