Started out about 7 years ago with AVR. So far, the ones I've worked on the most by far are PIC18's. But also have projects in EFM8 and EFM32, and STM32. Have been looking at AVR's again lately, thinking about trying to port some PIC projects over simply because AVR's with 12-bit ADCs are in stock, while PIC18s are just gone everywhere. Would have to redo some board layouts, but that's better than closing our doors and shutting down shop. Today I just fought XC8 compiler, optimizing away some inline asm I had previously used just fine in the old HI-TECH C, drove me crazy for awhile until I figured out what was going on when I finally looked at the assembly output. Had to trick the compiler into not doing that... wasted a good chunk of my time today. Actually think it's a bug, going to reproduce it in a small project so I can submit it to Microchip. Also done a small number of things in C#, VB, and have a RPi project going on in C trying to get bluetooth LE "bluez" lib to work. Played around a bit on my Tandy 1000 TL with x86 assembly, not much though. I was just really interested in drawing something to the screen in the Mode E, Tandy's 640x200 16-color mode.
