  • rocks, + bugs+ waste+ Microorganisms +even a calculatable quantity of star dust. Good stuff. Without dirt, life would cease.

I’ve got some that is 1-4’, then a clay layer that is at least 30’under it, might be more. Haven’t dug that deep yet.
