The oldest white European tribes (lifestyle wise) live nomadic lives in the very far north of Scandinavia the Sami or laplanders. They moved into the far north around the same time the Finns and swedes did. But instead of building nations they drank reindeer piss to get high.

I saw a doc on the Sami , they were biting reindeer testicles for some reason that escapes me. They however seemed very happy , content with their lives.
