Usually in the summer I see plane contrails all the time, but the last few summers have fewer contrails and fewer cloudy days.

It’s been pretty clear and sunny many days this summer, with not even a single cloud in the sky. Weird.

That’s what it would normally look like most years. But these last few summers, many days without a single cloud. Sometimes a week without a cloud.

It feels great at night on the hot days, but it gets dull quick to have all sun all the time.

It's been very hot, between 100° - 105° here the last 2 weeks.

Maybe that is the reason.

But I find it strange this has happened since the summer of covid.

Usually most days all the plane contrails would form clouds in the sky by 3-4pm and the sky would be cloudy the rest of the evening.

Cloud seeding steals moisture from neighboring areas. Is there some place nearby that's been getting rain?

Soild clouds here. From June 30 to July 3 I never saw the blue sky. Completely painted white. Over Orlando it happens daily. Today was mostly natural clouds here, looked like moderate spraying over Orlando.

Some recent pics.

It's been cloudy most days so far this year in the Pacific Northwest.

And I am convinced "they" are manipulating the weather, so some places are drowning while others are drying up. Order from chaos...
