It's not like $200 worth of wire takes up that much space and there's always another project that needs it. It's only going to get more expensive.
Bingo. I get cheap wire I find at thrift stores. Running low-voltage wiring, power for security cameras, etc. Will have some use in the future.
I may not ever need it. Besides, the client pays for it anyway. This is left over from the roll he bought. It was factored into my bid.
This was my thought too. I have ~25' 12-2 MC and~40' of 12-2 Romex sitting on a shelf in my garage waiting for an opportunity to get used.
I was floored the last time I saw wire prices at fleet farm a few months ago.
