At least bring it to a recycling center so you can get a few bucks and it’s not going in a landfill
You don't really think I'm gonna throw 200 bux worth of wire away? But I feel like it.
$200 worth of wire for $100 is about right. WHo ever buys it has to strip it, and recycle it.
He said it's new wire. OTOH he's not Home Depot and won't accept returns/exchanges, give a volume discount, or accept a credit card. Plus the customer has to go through extra bullshit to get it like texting and meeting OP at McDonald's. And if it's going for full price, all else equal, a Home Depot receipt over a panopticon bank account is less worry for tax deduction than a screen shot of some text messages.
The IDEA is that it will be used for its intended purpose. A 50 foot roll costs $288. My 53' roll is $200. It is a very fair deal.
Recyclables go in the landfill too.
Well not ACTUAL recyclables, like copper and other metals. What you're talking about is the scam that any plastic products can be recycled. The issue isn't recycling being bad or dumb, it's just a jewish scam to get people to accept plastic and see it as something other than poison.
Recyclables go in the landfill too.
Pay $1.89 per pound for clean copper and then toss it in the landfill? Maybe cardboard or plastic make it to the landfill, but a metal recycling company paying money for steel/copper/aluminum isn’t going to toss that shit in the trash…
Yeah he is definitely confusing metal recycling with the lie that most plastic is recyclable. It's a common tactic used to muddy the waters. Everyone should both support recycling, and realize plastic is toxic garbage that can't be genuinely recycled in any meaningful sense.
I’m talking about a place that buys scrap metal
