Used to be levi jeans, turned into wranglers when levi proved they sucked. Then I got aware. Never jeans again. So I went to some carhartt cargo, loved them for a bit. Figured I needed the pockets and space if I ever had to walk home.

Npw here is where it gets tricky cause I know you fuckers. I wear 5.11 now all the time. Are they tactical? Fuck whats tactical about pants especially when they have velcro? They are comfortable. Now I tried many different options they offered, I hated some of them. They are light weight and dry out really fast when wet.

I only wear the ABR's now. Try em before you say you hate em without any real life input.

Duluth Trading Company Firehose Pants. Tough and durable as an old bullhide boot.

I thought about trying those, Its just to hot here, thats why I left carhartt.

I feel ya. They can only be worn in fall & winter below the Mason Dixon. They do make for some kick ass utilitarian hunting britches.

Dont have fall and winter here.

Blue Mountain jeans from Tractor Supply. Catch em on sale for $10/pr. Kinda stiff till they break in.

Small TX got a Tractor Supply 18 months ago, bought a pair of their pants for $12. Wore them a couple of days, went back and bought 2 more.

Pants ?

I only wear pants if it's sub zero. Which is pretty much never here in Michigan. $65 for a pair of pants is way too much. Plus they look like skinny pants for cops. I'll stick with wrangler.

levi proved they sucked

Agreed

I typically wear the Wranglers since they're cheap and I'll just fuck them up anyway, but I get the carpenter style so I can put my phone in the pocket that's next to my right knee.

Around the house I wear the Under Armour athletic shorts since they're baggy and feel real comfortable.

I used to love carhartt pants but in 2006 they changed the material somehow making them lighter and less resilient. Over the years I've migrated to Duluth but they too seem to have cheapened out. Still really comfy though.

Yeah yeah, I see you Duluth fanboys saying they're "indestructible" but I actually work in mine. I've blown out crotches, punctured pockets and holes develop from washing. I guess if I just wore them once a week to look cool then they'd be great.....

Carhartt was better, back when they were better but everything seems to be going to shit quality wise.

I cycle through 8 pairs of Duluth a year roughly which cost $75 a pop.

My favorite jeans are made by the roundhouse jeans company right here in the US of A. They are great jeans and very reasonably priced. I also have a pair of vertex jeans that are very comfortable and a little more dressy.

I only wear shorts you feel me?

[–] 1 pt

I think.... is it a worm? You dont wear shorts or a kilt if you work in the country.

I'm kind of retired, live on a couple acres though but don't do much labor anymore.

[–] 1 pt

Yeah and if your on land you upkeep its one thing. Like a couple acres. But if you have to walk through woods and fields its stupid to wear shorts. I learned the hard way.

[–] 1 pt

[–] 1 pt
