Haha work with your hands, or outdoors and you will get cut. I'm lucky if week goes by where I don't have some wound on my hands. Granted, the blood loss is still minimal.
Thr last time I got cut seriously was probably 10 years ago though. I was bushwhacking in a river canyon when a bear came out of nowhere on the other side and entered the water towards me. I hastily tucked my pruning shears in a back pocket and climbed up my side of the canyon wall. It was early July, and while the riverbed was nicely shaded, climbing up about about 70 feet put me in full sun and I began sweating from the exertion and fear. With one hand on a tree root, I turned around to spot the bear only to realize I'd tucked my shears in blade up and open, and cut right across my wrist veins on the other hand. Blood and sweat fell on the stones as I searched for some cloth in my pack to tie up my wrist.
I stayed up on the canyon wall for 10-15 minutes until I heard the bear exit the water and go back the way it came.
If I look closely, I can still see a faint scar there.
