Should be using VZ58's. Much more accurate than an AK yet still simple and robust.
AKs have been more expensive on average than ARs since 2012.
I don't know where you guys are shopping, I've seen them below $700.
A lower goes for like 90-100. The rest of the gun is just legos. You can make it very cheap if you neglect things like longevity, or safety. An AK going below $700 is a sporter rifle, some ol' bullshit. Like a Honda civic, you have to mod it to make it good. Trigger mod, modding the barrel, the buttstock, the large mag mod, modding the mags, exhaust port mods, don't get me started with the breaks, picattini rails, and optics. The term mall ninja was invented for the shit you have to go through to turn a sporter rifle into something worthwhile, and then we start talking about the high end Veprs, oof.
1) I'd challenge the statement that AR-pattern rifles are often used. Lately they have been but, historically, that has not been the case.
2) They've been used more often then usual lately because the Feds are supplying them as part of the op to destroy the 2nd Amendment. I've heard that faggot in CHI actually had the exact same rifle as either the local police dept or the local FBI field office. Cannot confirm but its plausible.
3) As to AKs, until recently most of the US-manufactured ones were kinda crap. And to get an import you are talking a bit of a premium relative to an entry level AR-pattern domestically-made.
The Bernie bro who shot up the dead ate baseball practice had an AK, other then that it’s been awhile.
Sometimes idealogy trumps practicality. I'm sure that faggot used an AK-pattern because its the battle rifle of Communists.
Handguns are used in most mass shootings.
AK style
Avtomat Kalashnikova
AR style
ArmaLite
Tell me you know nothing about guns without telling me you know nothing about guns. Neither are styles. AK and AR both stand for their maker or brand. You won't find an AK in a gun store, not to mention they're full auto; have fun with that tax stamp.
Are they on the ban list.
Yes. Kind of. An AK47 is a full-auto. That's all you need to know. They're also in the hands of sandjews that the USSR jews armed.
Tell me you know nothing about guns without telling me you know nothing about guns.
and he goes on to prove that point!
Neither are styles.
They are a design of rifle that is made by many manufacturers so calling them a style is not wrong. I have some of both and none of them were made by ArmaLite or Avtomat Kalishnikova.
AK and AR both stand for their maker or brand.
Again, not true.
You won't find an AK in a gun store, not to mention they're full auto; have fun with that tax stamp.
You fucking moron, there are plenty of semiautomatic AKs out there. Now please take your own advice and shut the fuck up about shit you clearly know nothing about.
You are right technically, but people use AR and AK colloquially and everyone generally knows the type of rifle you are talking about. It’s the same thing as calling any generic tissue a “Kleenex” even though it’s not technically that brand. Everybody knows what you’re talking about and it’s easier to communicate that way
