I only know as much as I read on the internet's. a mysterious individual, using the fake name of RC Christian, made all the arrangements, purchasing the property from a farmer and hiring contractor(s). The stones were astronomically aligned so that the sun shine through slots at specific times. The stones carried inscriptions, supposedly prescribing guidelines for the future of humanity, in various languages on each of the faces of the granite slabs. The most controversial of these guidelines dictated that the world population be limited and maintained at 500 million people. After the project, the land was turned over to County Government. RC Christian also wrote a book, which is out of print now and very hard to find. Many people expected the stones to remain there for many generations, and compared them to Stonehenge. There was supposed to be a 'time capsule' buried below, but some doubt that.
Some say there is significance to the latitude it was built on. And the script was in 8 languages, yet French wasn’t one of them.
