I believe I’d read you can change the css for yourself to change how you see Poal. I just reached level 30 and am really noticing how bad that red is for me on what I think is a gray background. I’m colorblind and that red not only disappears but it’s like I can’t read it and it shocks my eyes at the same time.

Can someone help me to either change red names to neon pink or neon blue or to change the background where usernames are to a very very light gray or to white?

I’d appreciate it.

UPDATE juiced me up with a bit of code that works swimmingly on individual subs. Im about to find out how to apply it globally and see how that works. I’m wondering if it wipes out all custom styling for subs that have their own custom css or just substitutes the bits to help me see lvl 30-50 users better.

Take a look at /p/advertising

That blue (I think it’s blue, colorblind) really pops and I can distinguish it from the blue for new users.

When I go in my office later and can sit in front a computer, I’ll look at the css and test it site-wide. I’ll also pst a link to it on here from my colorblind brothers and sisters (0.5% of females affected by some kind of colorblindness).

Weird how 1:200 women can have some form of colorblindness but in all my years I’ve never met one. I’ll bet a bunch don’t even know. Optometrists don’t seem to test females for it like they do males.

I didn’t know until 5th grade. So many stories growing up of how being colorblind fucked me over. From painting a “bloody” dog in 3rd grade (I didn’t know it was red) to doing pages and pages of punish work during an in-school suspension in 8th grade for fighting only to have another day added on because it was all in purple.

If you are talking about how your name appears in that sub, to me it looks purple.

Lol. Electric Purple. I just googled the hex name. My eyes are handicapped! I updated the post's description with the code given to me by boss man.

September 6th is colorblind awareness day. Please be aware of my plight on that day.
