You sound like someone tech averse and I wouldn’t blame you if you were, but the smart watches they have out today are like mini sleep labs.
I gifted my dad my Fitbit sense and got the ball rolling on his lifetime sleep apnea problem. What happens is that when you have an apnea spell, the device can see that your blood oxygen level dips and your heart starts to race to make up for it. That shit can happen a hundred times per night and not wake you up to full consciousness.
The crazy thing is that all it took was a nose strip and some dry mouth tablets to fix. No cpap machine, nada.
Thank you for the information. I'll see if I can find the watch. I've been having odd heart palpitations too, so it would be wise of me to monitor it.
