Interesting to see that most of us here don't sleep much. I'm sleeping more at night during winter and usually less in the summer during which I'll nap mid-day during the warmer part of the day. I can only remember my dreams for a few minutes after waking up. I can sometimes remember them longer if they were really upsetting.
I too sleep my best when it's cooler. I'll also take short naps when it's warmer, but I wake more easily because it's warmer. If I was in a deep sleep when I wake suddenly, I remember my dreams. But, like you, I don't remember them for long.
