I usually have plans, but this year I don't yet. Last year, like almost every year, we went to our neighbors across the road for a barbecue. Then, at around 9pm, several of us would walk to our other neighbors lake home around the corner to watch fireworks over the lake. On the way back home, however. for the last two years in a row, we saw bears in the road. So.for that reason, I don't want to walk to the lakehouse this 4th.

Any big plans for the 4th?

No . It was head on. We were in the street and it was directly in front of us as we walked home. Last year, my daughter ran out ahead of us. I told her to stay back. Luckily, a neighbor's dog was with us and ran slightly ahead of her and confronted the bear head on. I screamed and ran to get my daughter. It was scary
