I usually have plans, but this year I don't yet. Last year, like almost every year, we went to our neighbors across the road for a barbecue. Then, at around 9pm, several of us would walk to our other neighbors lake home around the corner to watch fireworks over the lake. On the way back home, however. for the last two years in a row, we saw bears in the road. So.for that reason, I don't want to walk to the lakehouse this 4th.

Any big plans for the 4th?

Lol. I bet it's hot there right now. At least it stays cooler up in these mountains. Though. I hate that I'm stuck in my house most nights because of the wild animals. I have to walk 40 steps down from my lowest door to get to my car. Woods surround my home. No garage.

So jealous. The desert makes me crave the woods.

Also only like 102 today not terrible. ;)

Hahaha. I just opened my upstair patio doors. I hear the wind chimes as I text you. I feel a nice cool, fresh breeze. It's high 60s. God, does it feel hot here! Lol
