Kubrik said it was supposed to be something to the effect of him having been put in an alien zoo for the rest of his life (hence the aging cuts). The room was a classic French design to show that the aliens were trying to give him an environment they thought he might like since at one point in time some people would have found that type of room luxurious, but they didn't really get it right since it wasn't his home style. This was supposed to sort of mock when we put animals in a zoo we try to give them faux versions of their natural habitats but it's not the same as the real thing.

Pretty much like jew-owned pedollywood.

All of their movies (especially the last 2 decades ones) are filled with unrealistic narrative.

  • White women love niggers

  • niggers are smart af and always save the day

  • White men are weak boring incels

  • Being gay is cool

  • obligatory reference to WWII and how Hitler was a bad person. Also “muh hollowcost”.

Fun fact:

...about once a week some character spots the fact that HAL is one letter ahead of IBM, and promptly assumes that Stanley and I were taking a crack at the estimable institution ... As it happened, IBM had given us a good deal of help, so we were quite embarrassed by this, and would have changed the name had we spotted the coincidence.

Interesting how a modern cell phone is much like a monolith.

Makes you think whatever the one in the movie was, it could probably be real. If not then, then in the future.

Alien zoo for humans, or at least the astronaut that got as far as Saturn.
