Not sure why, just thought I'd ask the question. I'll get it started.

I've seen 5 thus far in my few decades on the planet. 3 were similar to one another, the other 2 were unique unto themselves.

UFO 1 The first one was in '97 or '98. I was a junior in high school. My room in my parents house was upstairs and I didn't have any shades on my windows. It was a school night and I was asleep until about 2:30 in the morning when a flash of light woke me from my slumber.

It was bright enough that it passed through my eyelids enough for my brain to register it, thus waking me up. I assumed that it was lightning from a storm in the distance since I didn't hear any accompanying thunder, so I brushed it off and tried to go back to sleep. A few minutes later, however, that "flash" turned into a steady stream of light.. as if someone was shining a flashlight at my face with my eyes closed, and I could see this light through my closed eyelids. Knowing that lightning flashes quickly, as opposed to "staying on" for several consecutive seconds, this got my attention. I opened my eyes and my entire room was lit up. The source of the light was obviously outside, so I got out of bed and walked to the window. What I saw was like nothing I've ever seen before and haven't seen since.

To preface, understand that I come from an aviation-loving family. My brother got his pilot's license and solo'ed at 16 years of age. My grandfather had flown since well before I was born. His mother (my great grandmother) was the first woman in our county to get her pilot's license in like the 50's or 60's. I was raised around airplanes and attended many airshows growing up. I flew with my brother a couple of times and with my grandfather more times than I can count. So, I am intimately familiar with what planes can do. Everything from the planes my grandad owned to the military jets we'd see at the airshows (back then it was mostly F-16's, F-18's, F-14's, F-15's, and I even saw an F-117 demo once).

Ok, so whatever the fuck this thing was, it was absolutely without a doubt not a conventional aircraft. As those Navy pilots have recently come out publicly saying, these things can do stuff that normal jets - even the best jets - simply cannot do. It was flashing multicolored lights and then it would illuminate the entire sky every few seconds. It would move from literally one end of the sky to the other in under a second. Right angle turns and even completely directional 180's at what had to be thousands of miles per hour.

As I sat there trying to understand what I was looking at, it occurred to me that I should probably wake my dad to see this because if no one else saw it, no one would believe me. So I snapped out of my trance and ran downstairs and shook him awake from a dead sleep. It took him a few seconds to get his bearings and make sense of what I was telling him. Eventually, he came upstairs with me. And wouldn't you know it, the damn thing was gone by the time he got up there! I was crushed.

So, I decided just to keep it to myself. I wasn't going to tell my friends at school about it because as I had no other witness to corroborate my story, I didn't think anyone would believe me.

So the next morning I go to school. As usual, me and my friends are standing at our lockers shooting the shit, waiting for the first bell to ring and for our day to begin. One of my buddies at the time lived a block away from me on a parallel street. This guy says to me "what's up man, how you doing?" I'm like "fine dude, how about you?" He says "I'm really tired man, I didn't get much sleep." I go "Yeah? Why is that?"

He proceeds to tell me that around 2:30 AM he got out of bed and went to the kitchen to get a drink of water. Now, him being my friend, I know the layout of his house and I know where the kitchen window is - it faces the same direction as my bedroom window did. Long story short, he describes to me exactly the same thing I saw. Again, I said nothing to anyone except my dad up to this point. As he's telling me this, a chill goes down my spine. It must have shown on my face because he's like "What's wrong, dude? You look like you've seen a ghost?" I reply "Well, man, I saw it, too. It woke me up out of bed and I watched it for several minutes before going down to get my dad to come up and see it." "Did he see it, too?!" You could tell he was hopeful that an adult could corroborate since it may give us some credibility. I explained to him that no, unfortunately my dad didn't get there in time.

So I guess the good news is that we proved to one another that we weren't crazy and we actually did see what we thought we saw.

UFO 2

Life goes on and I go to college. I had another buddy from high school that attended a different school a few hours away from me. Because my school was on the way to our hometown, he'd stop by on the way back and we'd carpool together on holiday breaks and the like. I can't remember if it was thanksgiving or Christmas break, I think it was thanksgiving. Anyhow, he comes and picks me up and we start the three hour drive back home for the break, just like we'd done many times before. I was going to school in Oklahoma at that time and we had just crossed the border back into Texas maybe 30-60 minutes prior. The sun was going down at this point, so it was still light out but not quite dark. Like when the sun is almost engulfed by the horizon and you still have a few minutes of light, though it's dim light.

So we're on this long stretch of highway and it's straight as an arrow. Off in the distance on the left of the road there's a water tower on the horizon. We're moving towards this water tower, but it's still a few minutes away. We might have been 5 miles from it or so. There's something in the air just to the left of it moving slowly, from the left of it to the right. I took note of it but thought it was an airplane because at that distance we couldn't really make it out.

As we get closer this thing is still moving from our left to our right. It's getting darker out, but still not quite "dark" all the way. By the time we get even with the thing, it has now passed from the left side of the road to the right. At this point, there's a big ass field to our right and I'm noticing cars pulled over on the highway and people are out of their cars staring up at it.

It's triangle shaped and FUCKING HUGE. It was very, very, very close. And very low. Probably between 500-1000 feet up, if that. When I say it was "fucking huge", let me put that in perspective... It would have taken 5 or 6 747's, wing to wing in a straight line to cover the width of this thing at its base.

Apart from its sheer size, the other thing that got my immediate attention was how slow it was moving while still managing to somehow stay airborne. You ever seen a passenger jet come in to land at a distance? It looks like it's moving slow AF because it's so far away, but in actuality it's what, like 130-190 mph or so? Because of how that distance can skew the perspective of an observer on the ground, I hesitate to estimate speed except to say that it was moving rather slow in comparison to the jets I've seen coming in to land.

At each point of the triangle it had a glowing, blue light. Not little lights like you see on conventional aircraft..bigass glowing lights. As we approached it, I rolled down my window. I was curious to see if I could hear an engine. Granted, we were still moving and so there was wind noise, but I am confident that we were close enough that I should have easily been able to hear a jet engine regardless (assuming it had such a propulsion system). As you may of guessed, I heard nothing except the wind noise. I was glad that again, I had a witness.

UFO's 3,4 & 5

If you've ever seen the "Predator" movies, you'll note how the predator looks when he's camouflaged. It's like he's invisible in that light passes through him, but you can still make out his shape somewhat because that light is being bent and thus, the light is distorted. Kinda like a jellyfish or something.

The other three, all at different times, were slowly floating things that had that similar trait to the predator's camouflage. One I saw after a gig with my band in college. We'd always go and party at the bass player's house after a show. Tons of people. Me and this dude stepped out to smoke and we both saw one of these things.

The next one was at a drive in movie. I was there with my ex-wife. I saw it in the distance and apparently she couldn't see it. I eventually just said screw it and kept watching the movie. I have 20/20 vision and she doesn't, go figure.

The most recent was about two years ago. Although at this point in my life I'd already seen so many of these things that I don't get all that excited about it anymore, this one actually freaked me out. I am an avid kayak fisherman. I live about three miles from a popular bass lake and have some fishing buddies. I fish this place almost daily when I get out of work. Yes, my life is pretty fucking great despite all the bullshit in the world.

So me and this dude are fishing this lake late in the day. It's not a huge lake, but not small either. It's about 3 miles if you were to walk around it on the shoreline. So we're fishing and it's a beautiful day turned into a beautiful evening. Wind is scarce, water is like glass, sun goes down, not a cloud in the sky, stars are out, and a full moon. It's 9:30 or 10 PM at this point.

As it happens, we're basically right smack dab in the middle of the lake. So the closest shore is probably 1/2 to 3/4 miles away maybe. We have walky talky apps on our cell phones so that we can alert one another if one of us gets onto a school of fish or finds a hotspot. He's probably about 300 yards to my east, I can see him with my naked eye but barely.

So I'm taking in the scenery and doing my thing, and for a few minutes I just look up at the sky. I'm gazing at the stars and enjoying this moment of peace, being "one with nature" and all that shit. I wouldn't have seen it had I not looked up. And I wouldn't have been able to see it if the moon wasn't out like it was. But right above me, right smack above me, there it is. Maybe 300 feet up, if that. It's just floating and I can see through it, but because of the way it bends the light I can still see it. It literally looked like a jellyfish floating in the sky, but without tentacles.

Now, again, I am not close to shore really at all and I'm in a fucking kayak. My kayak has a pedal drive (like a bicycle), so I'm faster than a guy who is working a double ended paddle.. but still.. I can do maybe 3-5 mph on this thing at best and I have a fucking 1/2 mile to go at least. So I'm just like WTF do I do. I didn't completely flip out, but man my adrenaline is going because I don't know what this thing is, I only know what it 'aint. And if it decides it wants to do something to me, what the fuck am I going to do in the middle of the fucking lake? I can't exactly run from it, can I? Then I remember that I always carry a handgun with me with rat shot rounds (in case of water moccasins). I actually have a hollow point for my first shot, but every round after that is rat shot when I carry on the lake. For about 20 seconds, I contemplate shooting it. I mean, there's no way I can miss this shot. It's right there and it's not moving. I really just wanted to shoot it to see what, if anything, it might do. Just so that I could get some idea what the fuck this thing is. If it bleeds or squawks, that'll tell me something. If it zaps me with some sort of exotic weapon, at least I might learn something about what the fuck it is. Keep in mind, I've seen this shit so many times before and I'm just sick of not knowing what the fuck these things are. Anyhow, my logic gets the better of me. I deduce that it's likely one of two things, either of which would probably fuck me up if I fire on it unprovoked..and even if it doesn't fuck me up then I likely get to have a conversation with the cops or the game warden where I explain to them why I'm shooting my firearm in city limits, lose my license to carry, probably have some bullshit on my permanent record, and/or perhaps get ordered by a judge to the psyche ward. So I ultimately decide against it.

I just keep watching it. I stare at it for probably 3-5 minutes before deciding to call my buddy. So I open the walky talkie app and ping him. I'm like "Hey man, I'm over here to your west. Come over here, quick." This asian motherfucker says in broken Engrish "Why? You catch-a-tha-fish?" I'm like "No, dude. Just come over here." You see, I don't want to tell him what I see because A) I don't know if he can see it from his position and B) if he can't, he probably won't believe me. That slant-eye fuck says "No, I'm fishin' man", indicating that he's too fucking busy to come the 300 yards to my position.

"Dammit dude. Get your ass over here. Just do it", I tell him. "Why you a want me a come over there?" the stubborn slope asks me.

So I'm like fuck it. "Dude, there's some weird shit over here, just come here and look at this." "What is it?" he asks in his hilarious accent.

"There's some weird shit in the sky right above me", I tell him. "Now come over here and look at this!"

No sooner did I say it than the thing - whatever it was - starts moving away! It was like it could not only hear what I said, but understand what I said!

It didn't speed off like a bolt of lighting or anything. Just silently went from a hover above me to exiting the area towards the west. It never made a sound. I watched it move off, probably doing no more than 15-20 mph.. and of course, by the time that dog-eating fuckstick finally got over there, the thing was fucking gone.

So, there you have it.

I've had bad "sleep paralysis" before, but the fact that we shared basically the same vision was really awful and terrifying

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Here’s one for you. In late 2019, I was married. At the time, my now ex wife was having an (at least) emotional affair with a married guy, but I didn’t know it at the time. We would be separated and divorce filed two months later.

Anyhow, one night we’re asleep and I feel her arm go across over onto me, which wasn’t abnormal. You know, when a woman might snuggle/cuddle with you in bed.

Except this time something strange AF happened.

As soon as her arm touched me, this image was beamed into the screen of my minds eye. It was some sort of evil entity.. looked like a snake crossed with a human, was definitely female.

At the same time, I felt this evil presence in my spirit. Very, very intense. Like if someone could convey emotions to you where they force you to feel what they feel, is the best I can do to describe it.

I quickly realized it was obviously a demon, and for some reason that made no sense to me, it was trying to use my wife to hurt me? It made no sense. My ex-wife was, on the surface, a moral Christian woman. Little did I know.

About the time I realized what it was and began to open my mouth to rebuke it, it was gone.

Because I couldn’t make sense of it, I blew it off. Forgot about it.. at least until a few months down the road when I uncovered the truth and we were in the middle of divorcing. Then it all made sense.

I remembered thinking to myself when we were at the worst of our fighting that for the first time in our 8 year relationship, I didn’t recognize this woman. It was like she was a different person suddenly. My gut said that there was a demon that had a hold of her, but my flesh said “that’s silly” and convinced me to forget that crazy idea. No, my gut was actually right. I didn’t put it all together until months later.

That shit is real, man.

In hindsight, I learned that God had allowed me to see what was going on. What I should have been doing was praying against this spirit once I was made known of its existence.. and probably questioning my wife, which would have freaked her out and possibly forced her to deal with her demons. We’d have gotten divorced anyhow I’m sure, because I won’t be with a woman I can’t trust anyhow. But some other things could have been different maybe. For all I know, I was being alerted to what “was to come” to give me the chance to head it off? I don’t know. Even if so, it would have meant that, again, I’m with a woman who is so lacking in moral character that she has it within her to do such a thing in the first place. So I’m not really sure what might have been different had I reacted differently, but I learned a lesson: listen to my gut (which some say is really just the Holy Spirit talking to you).

It turns out that I’m engaged to a much hotter and all around better woman now anyhow, so try as they might to take me down, they actually ended up making my life better.

As the word says “God works all things out for good for those who love him.”

All things. Yes, even that shit, which was traumatic AF.

I learned a lot through it all. I’m definitely a better man for my woman now than I ever was for my ex. And like I said, I got a better woman. I’ve also more than doubled my income. And most importantly, I learned something about spiritual warfare, even though it was a painful lesson.

But yes, it was a lesson learned. Anymore when I get an inkling of demonic activity, I attack.

You ever think that consciousness itself is a lie?

I have thought that before. But no I don’t persist in that belief. I’ve considered almost everything, but soundly rejected most of it for one reason or another. Because, again, I’ve seen firsthand that it’s simply not the case.

You have a body, you have a soul, you have a spirit.

I’ve deduced (and believe it’s both biblical and confirmed by science at this point) that the physical realm is just a very convincing simulation, for lack of a better term.

This is our training ground, in other words.

When I had my spiritual experience, it lasted about a month and one thing that was made abundantly clear to me was that the spirit realm, the realm where the real you exists, is actually more real than the physical realm that you’re currently trapped within. I know it probably doesn’t make sense when I say that, but I don’t know any other way to put it. And it’s nothing I could convince anyone else of. You’d have to have a similar experience to know what I’m saying, for better or worse.

If you want to be purely scientific about it, then consider that quantum physics has allegedly concluded that there’s a certain point at which matter can no longer be divided or reduced any further.

So when people like Elon Musk say things like “we live in a digital simulation”, that’s what they’re referencing.

Digital implies 1 or 0, right?

Well, there’s a point at which a particle either exists or doesn’t. There are no other little particles making up that particle once you zoom into a certain view. If it exists, it’s a 1. If it doesn’t, it’s a zero. Hence, “digital simulation.”

If it were analog, then you could keep dividing particles infinitely. In other words, the particles ALWAYS exist (and are therefore infinite), they just exist in different quantities/sizes.

Hence, spiritual is eternal..or infinite (aka analog), physical is digital (finite)

It’s like the difference between writing a letter on a piece of paper with a pen and typing the same letter out in your keyboard.

It has the same content and meaning, but the computer rendition is really nothing more than 1’s and 0’s displayed to you in a way that’s intelligible. It’s virtual, not actually real. Whereas the paper and the ink and the pen are not 1’s and 0’s, nor is the resultant letter made up of 1’s and 0’s..they are analog, or “real” in comparison.

Make sense?
