Why in the hell do most poor or non English speaking people use “speaker” when conducting a phone call?

I personally do not want to hear the blabber. Non-English is the worst. It might as well be a dog barking.

Exactly. On top of that I speak Czech to them as well. I remember once with my brother in an elevator there were to chinks talking their chink language very loudly. When my brother and I started talking in loud Czech to one another they instantly stopped talking and looked at us. They were stunned. We just kept on talking and insulting them in Czech.
