all the time. I've looked into guided meditation and it helps a little. my anxiety is mostly related to personal issues.

Im sure meditation helps some. However, at least in my case, it's hard to quiet my mind. I don't know who to talk to at times. It's easy to tune out the news, but some things related to it are personal.
the collapse is inevitable, and the future is dark; however, the future for much of humanity was dark. Realize that billions, trillions, of human beings have gone through difficult times and difficult times is the staple of humanity. Strife and pain is the standard not the exception. Tune it out, take a deep breath, and realize that many humans have had it much worse than you. Be thankful for the peace that exists now and do what you can to change the future and fight for what you believe. That being said, take a deep breath and walk away from it all from time to time. Make sure this doesn't consume you or you've already lost.
I agree with what you say. The news isn't consuming me, however. It's something else. But.like you say pain is an inevitable part of life. How we handle it is key. That's why I made this post. I'm feeling happy for a little while. My blessings are bigger than my problems. I'm sure some have it worse. I should be thankful. Thank you for reminding me.
