Someone told me yesterday that he takes kratom for his chronic hip pain and he says it really works. My question is this would it be safe for my ole grumpy father to take it who's on a bunch of different medications. He's got bad arthritis in his hands. He likes to drink but would this get him high which he would not like? I've seen a gas station or two with a kratom sign on the door but is there a more legit place to purchase it?

You simpleton, it’s called the MU opioid—not opiate receptor. Look it up. Opiates are derived from opium. Kratom is indeed related to coffee, but it’s mitragynine that binds to the OPIOID—not opiate receptors.

Are you kidding me? You need to look it up. Or actually I’ll do it for you:

Should I keep going?

Oh, and here’s a study about kratom being a partial agonist of the mu receptor. Fucking retard

My biggest pet peeve is somebody who acts like they know everything when in reality they know nothing about what they are talking about

YOU FUCKING RETARD!! You just proved my point, you calling it an OPIATE receptor and then the first link you posted calling it an OPIOID receptor. Fucking dense simpleton. This was my argument all along, that kratom is an OPIOID not an OPIATE. Opiates are derived from opium. An opioid can include opiates, as in drugs derived from opium, or other drugs such as kratom which all act on the OPIOID receptors, not the fucking OPIATE receptors like you call it. Do you get it yet? Kratom is not an OPIATE.
