System collapse into internecine 'civil war' (riots) somewhere between $5 and $7 gas.

Historically collapses and wars occurred when food cost more than 30% of income. (citing from memory, so don't hold me to it.)

My wife was in the grocery store the other day. Seems they doubled the prices on some foods. Customers were yelling at the man who stocks the shelves.
