Lol. Know what you mean. All we had coming up was Mexican rag/dirt weed. Fifteen bucks an ounce. Now and then some ThaiSticks would roll through. Acid and mushrooms. Then coke came in and turned everybody into assholes. I couldn’t ever afford the shit, so I’m not an asshole ; ). Beer was cheaper. To be honest, wished I’d never had touched any of the shit. I often wonder how different my life would be today. I was a smart kid, liked school and learning, but because of that stuff I made some bad life decisions and some were made for me because of it. Usage faded out by my mid twenties, except for drinking. Took another ten years to figure that one out, so yeah, I think the weed and the culture around it in my area at the time had a definite negative effect in my thinking and opportunities. Hence why I wonder. The shit available today, no can do! Don’t know how anybody can. Some can get away with it, some like me, to whom it makes dumber than a post, can’t. Or shouldn’t. All in all, I think society as a whole has suffered greatly from its usage in that it allowed easily, the things that trouble us so mightily today to come about and spiral out of control. Almost like it was (((planned))).
