That sounds like my "chaos and inertia" option. No major intelligence to it, just extreme greed exploiting extreme weakness. It's really bleak.
It’s more that a plan exists, but they keep getting greedier and want more.
They could have lived like kings, quietly coin clipping and collecting modest usury.
Instead, their degenerate, parasitic minds crave evermore, until they drain the host.
This is what the “elite” of humanity always does just before a crash. It’s what causes the crash.
It's like every recession is man made and they are made so the banks and repossess your car your home or the state/city can do it for non payment of taxes. It's so the non wealthy can never rest or retire, they fuck up their investments by crashing the market, they cause massive inflation and all to keep the workers noses to the grindstones like they are prison guards on a work farm.
This is mostly what I believe.
It’s just the selfishness of man compounding more and more consequences on all of us. And as we grow even more selfish the consequences grow more severe.
The solution is laughably simple. But I suppose the time for it isn’t just yet.
I think it's a combination of that and a hive mind instinct
