Liberals be all like "there is no problem". But conservatives be like "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!". But I was wondering if anyone is trying to quantify what these food shortages will look like in a ...digestible way. What are we really talking about here? Do I need to buy 500 pounds of rice or is this more of a cool ranch is sold out so you have to eat nacho cheese kind of situation?

Food cost will go up. A lot of basic non-essential stuff will go down in cost.

Expect double cost from last year for 2022. 2023 will be worse. Almost all grains will be gone. Remember Ukraine shortage but so much wheat destruction over the last 2 years(floods, locust, storms, heat, fertilizer). Many fast food places will adjust to wheat alternatives. Rice gone.

You will be able to get bugs though and I'm not kidding. That will shift probably next summer.

Anyone know about possible butter shortage?
