I'd prefer a monarchy to the debasement our Republic has endured. It is not, nor has it ever been, a democracy. It was never meant to include the voices of all, nor should it. It was landowning male citizens. Those most invested in the success of the nation. Now we hold hostage our National Security for those who cannot be bothered to obtain legal identification or even read. Consequently, we have positioned ourselves as weak and inept. Children of a parental government. Addicted to it's rule and a never-ending welfare check.
