Be fit, take care of yourself, and communicate well. This has never been an issue for me because of that.

Also realize in advance they're more neurotic than we are.

I disagree with the guy who emphasizes status. I'm a courier making 1.5x median income with a small social circle and I've always been the one with the lower drive in my long-terms. My drive is medium.

A perma-single dude I work with can get laid any time he wants (same job) and he has an average social circle.

I don't condone being a degenerate and sleeping around but this does illustrate the emphasis on status can be misleading.
