Although I obviously have a love/hate relationship with Conor oberst, I'd have to say bright Eyes digital ash in a digital urn. They released 2 albums at once in 2005, and the folkier wide awake it's morning got all the attention, but digital ash is incredibly underrated, amazingly produced with layers upon layers of instrumentation buried in the mix. Swear I find something new every listen.

Y, that chick from Blonde in the Belly of The Beast mentioned it. Even aside from me wanting to putting a baby in her...she generally has pretty good instinct on these things so I trust her judgement.
