How many people are you downvoting to even warrant the use of it?
The only difference it makes is stops people hitting it when scrolling on their phone.
Which is a feature that was desperately needed.
While it does prevent me from hitting downvoted, instead of the upvote I intended, there are, unfortunately, other buttons that get pressed instead, because touchscreen. So it's a step in the right direction I suppose
I upvote if I like something. I downvote obvious agent provocateurs, etc. The point is if you are going to have a control with an up/down, it makes more sense to put up as up and down down, not up left down right.
