No. I hate change.

It's also harder to use. It needs to be vertical like inside the post. Horizontal is stupid. It's up/dowh, not left/right.

[–] 3 pts

How many people are you downvoting to even warrant the use of it?

The only difference it makes is stops people hitting it when scrolling on their phone.

[–] 2 pts

Which is a feature that was desperately needed.

[–] 2 pts

While it does prevent me from hitting downvoted, instead of the upvote I intended, there are, unfortunately, other buttons that get pressed instead, because touchscreen. So it's a step in the right direction I suppose

[–] 2 pts

I upvote if I like something. I downvote obvious agent provocateurs, etc. The point is if you are going to have a control with an up/down, it makes more sense to put up as up and down down, not up left down right.

could change the arrows to 💖and 💩

[–] 1 pt

Except heart looks like a down arrow and shit looks like an up arrow, unless we all agree that we upvote shit we like here, and we also love to downvote posts we hate.

If it ain't broke, don't fuck with it

[–] 3 pts

It was broke for mobile.

[–] 2 pts

Get your ass in a chair like the rest of us desktop gremlins. Fucking poser. Plebeian.

[–] 0 pt

Yeah, I'll stop traveling the world for that.

[–] 0 pt

Don't use your phones for browsing the web? Problem solved.

[–] 0 pt

Only a literal retard had issues on mobile before. No exceptions.

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Wish IT was ON the right side.. And BIGGER

[–] 1 pt

The direction of the arrows govern whether it's up or now. Not its position.

The change is good. Although could be a gc and have an option in settings for retarded people who struggle to move their thumb or mouse.

The direction of the arrows govern whether it's up or now. Not its position.

That was the case before, but it isn't now. They're both on the same horizontal plane The only directional differentiation between them is left and right. Left and right is meaningless to up and down. Position would just mean where on the axis in which they're aligned they lie AKA: how far apart / close together they are. Their proximity to each other is irrelevant to my point.

[–] 1 pt

There are 6 arrows in this . Can you tell me the direction each arrow points?

although the up button should be on the right

[–] 2 pts

No.

up, down

No one says "down, up".

[–] 1 pt

Well, in the post itself (at least on mobile) the up and down are still up and down, so it's not a problem unless you're only voting on account of the title, thumbnail, or poster.

[–] 0 pt

I see no change...and since when are we allowed to downvote...other than as the spam police?

[–] 0 pt

We've always been able to downvote.

[–] 0 pt

Could work.

I think virtually all of the few downvotes I have cast on posts are accidental from before the "Why are you downvoting, are you a Jew?" dialog was introduced.

What I want to know is why it is never accidental upvotes. I never scroll down and think hmm I don't believe I have upvoted that.

[–] 0 pt

If you're not against me, don't cross this line! If yes, do.

[–] 0 pt

Damn. I want to pick too many options at once...

But no. Its fucked.

[–] 0 pt

I'm not sure if I like it or not. I don't like the way it breaks up the flow of posts but then the up/down buttons before were a bitch on mobile.

Not you but the internet as a whole, fuck mobile, fuck them all, their presence has turned the web into one flat fakebook gui. Garbage look that even windows was more appealing as in XP 20 years ago with a lot less powerful hardware ran fast and sweet and looked good but today it's all this cheap college intern Fisherprice designer for 5 year old.

Everything is fucking depricated to the extent everything is almost useless compared to over a decade ago for the name of progress aka slow death.
