I mostly agree with John Mearshimer. US meddled in Ukraine, the country joined NATO in all but name, there was a US-backed coup in 2014, Russia's security was threatened and they had to respond. I find it telling that this isn't one of the options in your post. You lack even the most basic understanding of the situation in Ukraine.
So you mean that Ukraine doesn't have the right to not be associated with russia, and join alliances against it instead, despite russia already having committed acts of genocide against ukraine during the holodomor, and being a shithole that has nothing to offer other than being a prison of nations?
I find the opinion, that anyone should be forced to be part of the russian sphere cuz they want it so is so stupid, that I didn't think anyone on poal would consider it. Besides, nato is an defensive alliance, that only threatens russia, if they plan to invade. Which means, that the current invasion proves, that ukraine had very good reasons to join nato.

I said no such thing.
nato is an defensive alliance
Ahahahahahahahaha... wait, you serious?
Yes. Nato members don't have to be part of america's adventures in shitskin-country, and many refused to in the past. Member why under George Walker french fries were renamed into freedom fries because the french didn't want to be part of the coalition of the willing?
