I'm getting a ton of grass clippings from my lawn, has anyone bothered to compress them into logs and use them in a firepit? What are some issues with burning grass in a big outdoor firepit instead of using wood logs?

NP. I've never fully looked into it myself but it's a thing that works and is useful.

A cow or goats are just as good at destroying plant matter but a bit harder to collect the gases from. But they do provide food from their hard work of eating.
