Doesn't matter if the charity is large or small. I just don't want my money going to africans, illegal aliens, sexual deviants and/or jews.

Honestly even the ones that actually supposedly have a good purpose and are giving to the people that you would like to give to have so much administrative overhead or just hire other companies to do things like make pamphlets and other things. I've known several people in the charity industry who are the ones who are hired by the charities to actually do whatever work they're going to do. And it's just astounding that in the end all these things usually do is higher other companies to produce pamphlets and other things or run some high-profile event to make it look like they're doing something to justify their salaries.

If you want to help people the best thing you can literally do is go to the grocery store and pay somebody's grocery at the checkout or give that poor person that you see on the side of the road some cash. I mean that might not get you the tax deduction if that's what you're after but I'm telling you if you actually want to make sure the money goes to somebody who needs it just flat out give them the cash.

By the way just be aware that the ones who are at the exit off ramps on highways or an intersections asking for cash are typically they're all the time and it's pretty much their way of making a living. Now you know people have different opinions about this whether or not it's a scam or not if somebody stands out there all day asking for cash rather than going to work it some minimum wage job. If you expect those people to be poor who are just standing there cuz they happen to end up at that intersection that day cuz they're desperate for food then you're probably going to be disappointed. That's not what those people are. But I frankly have adjusted my Outlook on these people. They're sitting out there in the hot sun all day taking cash directly which they don't have to pay taxes on so it actually goes to their purpose whatever that is directly and they're not working a minimum wage job and quite frankly that's just as hard work it's not harder than a lot of the jobs that people do. So if they're willing to sit out there all day and ask for money all day then I don't know why not give it to them versus somebody else.

Anyway I do remember doing a calculation one day when I was driving to work at 6:00 a.m. for job I held for a couple years and there was always a guy at an off-ramp off the interstate in Los Angeles. He was always asking for money and people there was a line of cars that would stop at the red light or at the off ramp and it was usually about 10 cars deep maybe 20 sometimes and he just walked down the line at every red light and invariably for every red light at least 2 to 3 people gave him some bills. So if each one gave him a dollar that was $3 at every red light but he often got $5 or $10 from people. And I remember running the numbers and I forget what they are now but you know if a red light turns every 20 seconds or whatever and you get two or three dollars or you average $5 a red light if somebody gives you a 20 every now and then then for the couple of hours during rush hour that he would stand there he was actually making great cash bank with the obviously no taxes withheld. Anyway once again how bad is that? Is it really a scam if the guys out there doing the work and making the money. I don't know. Is that more of a scam than what other people do I don't know. But I found it interesting how much he made and thought it would be an interesting experiment to do that myself. I mean I was working 12-hour days and I don't know that I made as much money as he did working the morning rush hour shift and I think he also worked the night shift but I can't remember the night Rush hour. Anyway my Outlook really changed that I don't view it as a scam he was out there asking for the money people were giving it to him it was honest. He didn't hold up a sign pretending he was something he wasn't. You know.
