Currently I'm visiting my family and my father hired a local landscaping company to mow the lawn. Of course they're all beaners and illegals and they don't have any idea how to properly weed whack and mow a lawn. I planted a new tree last year and yesterday the weed wacker retard butchered the tree by cutting it around its entire base so of course it will die because the tree can no longer get nutrients. I'm leaving in 2 weeks but next week when they come back I will set aside the weed whacker guy and tell him to not be a moron and learn how to cut properly but regardless of that I want to protect the new tree I'm going to plant. What do you guys use to protect the base of your trees from incompetent landscapers?

Give the tree a defined border. Not that illegals will recognize it....

Send them a bill for the tree, if he tree is a sapling put a tomato cage around it, if it's bigger than a sapling those white plastic tree protection tube things.

I agree. My dad's neighbor uses an unreliable white guy so that's not that great either. 90 percent of the landscaping done in the area is by latins.

Just stab some sticks down and wrap chicken wire around it. Can remove easily once the tree is large enough.

Plastic pipe I use drain tile cut 6” slit it the long way pull open to put around base of tree

put a temporary cage around it like a tomato plant so they cannot get to close unless the run over it with a riding lawn mower.

You really should be doing weed suppression and mulch around a new tree if you want it to grow quickly and thrive. Grass will out compete the sapling for resources.

Good to know. I have to buy some brown mulch for a fern bed my neighbor put in last month. I'll use some of that for the next couple of trees I'll be planting.

I'd dig up the sod about 2' diameter around the tree. Then give it some tree food, lay down a weed suppressor, and top with some pretty mulch to keep your faggoty HOA happy.

They don't have an HOA. Its honor system. Most people who live here aren't scumbags. There are 3 jews though and a chink family. One of the jews self hates so he's ok.
