Been living with my gf for 8 years until a couple months ago when she up and left, taking only her clothes and massive collection of "thundercats" toys and collectibles. Which is fine, because I'm not really interested in continuing a relationship with her, but the problem is that she left all the rest of her stuff. I told her I didn't want any of her stuff, and I invited her back a few times since, but she only took a couple things here and there each time. Now she blocked my phone and I can't contact her anymore, but I still have all these really personal things like keepsakes from her grandparents, irreplaceable photos of old friends and family, mementos of childhood, trip souvenirs, diaries, the list goes on... I don't want this stuff in my house, but I also think if I threw it all away, it would be the shittiest thing I've ever done. But she seems to be giving me no choice.

If you know of any other family members, contact them and ask them to come get it. Don't be nasty, just say you need to move them out, or they have to be thrown away as your ex didn't seem to want them.

If that fails, toss them. She apparently didn't want them.
