I am a handyman. Someone once told me a handyman is "the jackass of all trades" I like it and use it now.
Something something, jack of all trades master of none. Plumbing is stupid easy and available on youtube tho these days... as well as nearly everything else.
jack of all trades master of none
is oftentimes better than a master of one
I really know nothing.
That's not so bad for a beginning
You learn one thing well enough, you end up learning other stuff that goes along with it.
Personally, my foundation is philosophy, everything kind of spiraled out of that. If you love to learn and know how things work, you can use that self motivation to learn just about anything.
Climbing the rungs of Renaissance after years of wallowing in Bugness.

Not only am I a jack of all trades (master of none), but I even took my degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies. So there!
Example: I've performed an address decoding modification on an old TRS-80 computer for fun, built a 12-string electric guitar using an old used neck from a scrap bin, fixed a bunch of shit around the house like refurbishing the front storm door, and built a portable music studio that I can wheel around and can be deployed anywhere where there is 110VAC current available, all in the last couple of years, and that's just a fraction of the shit I do just for fun.
My man! The country and civilization will be restored by people like you!
Naw, I'm an old fart and soon I'll die, it's the Cycle of Life. But I've done plenty of civilizing and restoring along the way as I've lived.
People are intellectually and physically lazy. There are only bug people.
My trade involves several different types of skills but Im more a bug person than not. Pretty specialized over here.
