I did! Delivered food to the Downtown Recue mission. Chopped wood and tended my garden.
Do you get to see some evidence that the mission helps local White families?
It does help white families, but families do not like to be there. The mission is very strict. They separate the men from the women, which means fathers from mothers. Families have children so the mothers have children without the father's protection during the night. It really is not an ideal place, but it is an option which is temporary. There is a fair share of injured single women and elderly men. Each trying to make a go of it.
Good for you, a real white citizen doing white work. bravo!
