I have a turtle. I was driving home one day for lunch. When I saw a turtle standing on the street. It had two legs in the air. I drove by and wondered to myself “was that a turtle?” I stopped and backed up, yep that is a turtle, no river nearby. It was dieing. That was 10 years ago. I still have that little fucker. I have it in a 70 gallon fish tank. I have to scrub the algae off monthly. It tries to bite me every time I feed it. I have a turtle.
Notice the part where I didn’t say I love my turtle, I didn’t. I hate that little fucker. But by god I’m going to take care of it, even if it outlives me and it will! But it is fun if I see a bug. I grab it and throw it into the tank and yell “meat is back on the menu” my wife thinks I’m nuts,
