Definitely want to consult a lawyer on this one. It will depend on the state. Technically my main concern would be battery life though you can continue to visit them to replace/recharge it. There are some creative ways you could hide it.
Exactly. We are there every day, so replacing batteries not a problem. Do need to hide it, though. And yes, not until lawyer weighs in. Just trying to get ahead of the curve.
Do it anyway, no matter what. At best you have actionable legal evidence. At worst you have blackmail material with righteous actionable anger. Be discreet. Get father in law in on it if he is capable. 2 party approval that way.
