I think I saw Gordon Ramsay say a proper fried egg should have solid white, runny yolk and crispy edge. I've never been served that or been able to make it.

I love me some runny eggs - sunny-side up for me, most can't dig it... A runny egg on top of spuds or a ham steak is outta sight, not a single fuck given for those that can't hang. On the other side of that, I sometimes like my steak rare or a touch over blue.. a lot can't handle that either.
