Actually my negro, yes Nueces is one of the more placid rivers, should be fairly calm in most places. Good for both tubing and fishing (unless it's just really low).

Definitely, I do know there are bass in the river, in the deep areas.
There's a ton of rivers to float in the Texas Hill Country as you may know, fantastic areas.
