Nope. While maintaining profits is always necessary, they can't go hog wild on prices, because of competition. Every business has competitors, and just increasing prices "for the sake of it" guarantees a loss of market share. As a young lass, I was in retail management. Competition is fierce.

I don't steal but stealing from a big box store is not even remotely the same as stealing from a neighbor or even a random person. Stealing from individuals can almost never be justified.
