I see, you're explicitly referring to old politicians - not old rich people.

We fund both, one through taxes the other through Medicare/Medicaid and social security.

I'm curious how much money Warren Buffet or Rupert Murdoch consume in taxpayer entitlement dollars, annually. And don't lose yourself in your disdain for the boomers; while I understand, caring for the elderly was once considered a hallmark of an advanced society. Entitlement programs, as have been fostered since FDR are another matter.

But your argument does not support your premise; namely that octogenarian BILLIONAIRES are heavily defended by taxpayer money. Unless we're talking about the elected ruling class, i.e. politicians and high connected appointees like Henry Kissinger - the answer is that no, overwhelmingly, we don't. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security aren't worth much to a private security organization. Don't cross the streams anon.
