This. I like to send them on wild goose chases so they're doing anything but annoying me. They copy you if they perceive you as being successful so you can just tell them that you're planning to do something which you're not really planning on doing and they will run off and do it without any thought to the consequences. Have to be careful not to let them into your social groups though because once they establish themselves there's no getting rid of them.
