Church vs. religion.

Church + religion vs. Faith

In worldly matters it used to be a good thing to be a member of a congregation, but that time has passed. All of the so-called, quote - unquote, christian religions have been converged. They do not even bother with making a pretense of following God's word anymore. There is no true faith left in them. They are of this world, no longer merely in it, and their every breath and action serves the master of this world.

But, good news. You don't need them. And never did.

When I pray, it's personal, heartfelt, and straight to God. Pray with your wife, family and friends. Cut out the middleman.

"Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them. ” - Matthew 18:19-20

Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) still adheres to the Westminster Confession. It's a fight to keep the sodomites out, but it is a fight worth fighting.

Also, read chapters, not verses. Jesus isn't telling you, "don't worry about church, just sit at home and watch football." He's saying that even when persecuted he's still there.

Church is important enough for Jesus to have literally whipped the unbelievers out of The Temple.
