Car died recently. License suspended anyway, and always wanted to get one. Looking in the 1,000 or less range. Any suggestions?

That'll do. Only gotta travel 6.5 miles to work

The fat tire model is more for sand and gravel roads, you might want one more suited for asphalt, I dunno. But I will never go back to a non-electric bike, for sure. Very fun!

I kinda like the versatility. Could handle roads, and anything else.

Could the fat tire handle snow/ice? Maybe wishful thinking on my part here lol.

I live in FL, no idea. But the tires are very grippy on street and gravel.

You're going to need a battery on the larger scale for 6.5 miles one way. This is partially why I recommend building it yourself, as the batteries won't be proprietary and you'll likely to be able to get them quickly and cheaply when they eventually start waning (years from now).

I would say whatever mileage they claim, half it. Those are flat surface, no wind and no stops estimates.

Yeah. Specs on a different site for the ecotric vortex city warned of this, but I think it's manageable. A good starter, for a decent price
