It's been a while since I've carried a pack. Perhaps the equipment has gotten even lighter still. My base weight (not counting water or food) was about 15lbs for winter setup. It's hard to imagine there's much left to cut from there.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are out for a weekend that's a lot different than if you are out for a month or more. I would commonly go out for a weekend to 4 days with no real food whatsoever. But if you are going to be out for a month/months you have to be mindful and not run huge deficits or you are going to pay for it eventually.
