I wonder whether it's only me who noticed this. As time passes, I hear the ambulance sirens more and more often. Lately there have been days I have heard them five or even more times. Even a year before, it used to be once a week or even less, and now it has become something I hear all the time.

I'm on the interstate every day all day. I've never had to announce, "Make a hole. Meat box coming thorough," more than I have this year.

It went from one maybe every couple of days at most to 3-6 daily.

To be fair vehicle sound proofing has gotten pretty amazing.
