Crocs, faggot!!
Check this guy out. He breaks the boots down. Tears them apart on video and analyzers the quality and workmanship. He's a cobbler by trade.
Thought this was going to be the project farm video.
What are the best waterproof work shoes?
Redwing
Tired of boots
Oh. Damn.
EDIT: I just asked a buddy of mine and he swears by YMMV.
I've been wearing redwings for 10 years. I think the quality and selection has gone down, and I only buy the ones made in America. I'm actually looking for a better brand myself.
Maybe I had a bad experience, but I found Timberland, Hawx, and Thoroghgood boots to be WAY WAY better than anything made by Redwing. The Redwing boots tore my feet to shreds, were VERY expensive, and the staff at the store were annoyed at me for expressing anything other than happiness with their product.

Wow. I wore them almost exclusively for years.
In my experience with redwing I feel the staff exactly what I want and what I'll be using the boots for and then tell them I'm only interested in what was made in America. Good quality of I can find what I want, but more and more of their shit is made in China.
For my money, the Timberland Barstow wedge beats the Redwing in pretty much every way. BUT...I feel horrible using them for work, so I got my Hawx instead and swapped out the stock insole.
Depends on what you mean by waterproof. Do you mean that they can get wet and be full of water without being damaged or compromised, or that they can keep your feet dry even in wet conditions? For the former I'd say Teva kayaking shoes might be good, for the latter you're going to need well-made boots, there are no substitutes.
HAIX... give them a look. Ive been wearing them exclusively for 10yrs. Better than Redwings.
Picked up some nice Columbias
when I built docks I wore good leather work boots. I wore neoprene dive suit booties as socks. As long as I rinsed them out good at the end of the day theyd last. The booties would dry over night.
I just bought a pair of Keenes. 3 days in and so far so good. $165. Hurts the wallet but loggin boots were killing my back when im on pavement.
I was thinking keenes
I like keenes myself and until a few days ago I liked my Danners but they're suddenly falling apart after only a year of use
I used Hoka hiking boots when I was working on a golf course. Handled the dew, rain, and mud fine, really cushy.
Y'all niggers giving me too many boots
